The fabric is as thick as the cargo bag I haul my jeep cab cover in. The pant legs are extremely baggy. I could probably get both my legs in one. I ordered it by waist size but probably could have got away with a medium. The legs are extremely long even though I ordered a regular and I'm 5'11. Cargo pants should have flaps on the back pockets also but these don't. Only one Velcro attachment on each side of the leg pockets. Just glad I only ordered one instead of the five pairs at a time twice a year that I order from their competitor who discontinued camo cargos. Theirs were 100% cotton and you could move in them.
